Public bug reported:
In Unity 5.4 HUD, if I am in any application, I cannot reliably find
menu items.
For instance, in terminal I would look for 'Profiles', which is under
the 'Edit' Menu.
Typing 'Edit' yields no results
Typing 'profiles' yields no results
Typing pretty much any letter does not find any menu item in terminal, but
rather starts searching all the other indicators like Network Manager, power
menu etc
