I was able to enable the headphone part of the jack via the hda-jack- retask program, but the speakers were still enabled as well and continued tinkering didn't change that. So, the jack does not require any special connector as I was using my Sennheiser HD280pro headphones when I got the sound to work. Where can we go from here?
