I was able to fix this by uninstalling FireFox, using the Ubuntu Software Center, and then re-installing it.
While doing this I found that the install files available and status located in var/lib/dpkg on my computer were partially corrupted with the file name libglu-mesa being corrupted by having a utf-16 bit character in near the "-mesa" part of the name. I edited those two files to change the libglu-mesa to libglu1-mesa and then I could re-install FireFox. FireFox now works for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/932305 Title: firefox cannot display the html that comes from any website, including yours.
