Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: freqtweak

When freqtweak is launched from the menu, it silently fails (although an
error message is stored in ~/.xsession-errors). Launching from the
command line results in the error message "No good client name or JACK
server not running?". This error only happens if a JACK daemon is not
already running.

When this error occurs, freqtweak should provide graphical feedback to
the user.

To work around this, jackd must be started, either from a command line
or with qjackctl, prior to starting freqtweak.

** Affects: freqtweak (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
