Sorry, but if you're getting those messages it is definitively not an
installer bug. Possibilities include:
* The kernel is failing to drive your hardware properly (in which case the
kernel developers will need a good bug report with detailed traces from your
system)
* There's some hardware problem you haven't tracked down yet.
However, I don't think there's much point in keeping this bug open
against the installer in the meantime. It's lower-level than that.
