Public bug reported:
Hi,
I saw someone reported a similar bug in the beta 3 release (link :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/106283 ).
However, I wanted to make a different report because :
1) the bug is in the final 'stable' release
2) the error is different
3) some reports seems to be for different older releases
When you right-click the usb disk, you get a pop up message 'cannot
eject disk', and a yellow window appears on the bottom right corner of
the screen saying : "there is a data that needs to be writen to the
device HD..(device name) before it can be removed. Please do not remove
the media or disconnect the drive."
I do not have this problem under Ubuntu Edgy. And, I didn't write
anything on the drive, I was only reading/copying data FROM it.
After error appears, the drive reconnects itself (reappears as a
connected media).
If I want to remove it, I have to power the usb disk off.
