There is no need to disable the snapshots PPA repository; the versioning scheme is chosen so that 0.97.0-0ubuntu1 superseeds 0.97.0~preview... Moreover, as David is interested into Onboard 0.97.0 for oneiric, I am considering putting revision 756 of trunk into the Snapshots PPA for oneiric. This might help us decide whether to put Onboard 0.97.0 into the stable PPA for oneiric.
