Binary package hint: gdesklets
Google Gadgets could be incorporated into gdesklets either by simply
using the HTML embed code that is provided to place the gadget on your
external website.
If this could be achieved then I believe that the Ubuntu desktop gadget system
would have more content available to it than even the google desktop.
It may even be possible to design a simple html gadget browser that
automatically detects the embed code and asks if you want to install the gadget
on your desktop.
This is the first bug that I have ever reported, but it is just an idea. I have
no programming experience so I don't know where to start.
