One situation I can think of: A shared music library (for example, shared between myself and my wife) on a network drive. I want to load the whole thing, but then there are a few albums that I hate but my wife likes (and vice versa). Since they’re not mine and one of us does want them, I don’t want to delete the files…but I just want to remove them from my library.
