Public bug reported: FRQ (Feature Request):
Make Ubuntus default theme (e. g. Ambiance) the default fallback Gtk+ theme. The problem is: If you log out for example and the gnome-settings-daemon exits before the desktop session closes completely, the Gtk+ theme falls back to its current default theme. That means it changes for a few seconds from Ambiance to the default "plain" outdated looking Gtk+ theme which _doesn't_ look good and hurts the eyes! Expected behavior: If a good looking skin like Ambiance is the default Gtk+ fallback theme, it doesn't "hurt" the eyes if applications fall back to it in the case where gnome-settings-daemon is gone (see logout example). ** Affects: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: default gtk+ session theme -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/933960 Title: FRQ: Make Ubuntus default theme (e.g. Ambiance) default Gtk+ theme To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+3.0/+bug/933960/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
