Public bug reported:
I have a problem with watching tv on ps3.
Pinnacle 400e USB on Laptop works fine:
laptop:~$ uname -r
2.6.20-15-generic (feisty 7.04)
laptop:~$ lsmod | grep dvb
dvb_usb_ttusb2 8192 0
dvb_usb 21644 1 dvb_usb_ttusb2
dvb_core 80808 1 dvb_usb
dvb_pll 15364 1 dvb_usb
i2c_core 22784 6 lnbp21,tda826x,tda10086,i2c_ec,dvb_usb,dvb_pll
usbcore 134280 7
usb_storage,libusual,dvb_usb_ttusb2,dvb_usb,ehci_hcd,uhci_hcd
the same Pinnacle 400e USB on PS3 didn't work:
ps3:~$ uname -r
2.6.20-16-powerpc64-smp (feisty 7.04)
ps3:~$ lsmod | grep dvb
dvb_usb_ttusb2 16040 0
dvb_usb 37748 1 dvb_usb_ttusb2
dvb_core 128220 1 dvb_usb
dvb_pll 22668 1 dvb_usb
usbcore 223288 10
dvb_usb_ttusb2,dvb_usb,xpad,hci_usb,usb_storage,libusual,usbhid,ehci_hcd,ohci_hcd
The different is the Modul i2c. The result off „ sudo modprobe
i2c_core“:
FATAL: Module i2c_core not found.
By the way, there is no different to Kernel 2.6.20-15-powerpc64-smp.
