Public bug reported:
When browsing a directory with long file or directory names in list
view, the name column is automatically resized to fit the largest name.
This affects usability as the other columns are no longer visible in the
window. The expected behavior would be to more intelligently size other
columns (such as Type, which is too wide by default, wasting a lot of
space) and only expanding the Name column wide enough so that the other
columns are still visible.
