Public bug reported: I had a previously functioning mceusb remote with lucid. After the precise upgrade it stopped working.
It appears that this is caused by button names that changed with the upgrade. The /etc/lirc/lircd.conf sources the lircd.conf included with the package so these button names in the lircrc may not be consistent. If I re-run mythbuntu-lirc-generator after the upgrade, my media applications begin working again.
