Public bug reported:
I installed Feisty on a computer with 2 hard drives. I wiped hdb and
installed Feisty on hda - all was well.
As part of my weekly maintenance I copied hda to hdb (which I use solely
as a backup drive using a program such as Ghost or Drive Backup). The
problems began when I rebooted:-
FSTAB reports /dev/hda1 = / and /dev/hda3 = /home - this is perfect,
however:-
MTAB reports /dev/hda1 = / and /dev/hdb2 = /home - this is incorrect
System Settings report /dev/hdb1 = / and /dev/hdb2 = /home - this is
even more incorrect and disagrees with MTAB which disagrees with FSTAB
