I have kernel version 3.2.0-030200rc2-generic and added "options drm_kms_helper poll=N" (without quotes) to /etc/modprobe.d/local.conf
But no effect, kworker still taking 80% or more. only thing that works is still setting laptop in standby and resume -> kworker gone. Or do I need another kernel version? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/887793 Title: Kworker constantly taking about 100% CPU To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/887793/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
