I didn't say you should but there is still a delta that you can't just
ignore.

That's how it was in the Ubuntu package too before pitti completely dropped the 
Recommends.

I'm not sure why it would pull in packagekit if python-
aptdaemon.pkcompat is present but this needs to be checked before we can
sync the package.
