It looks like ubuntu don't use BTS and therefore this report should be
tagged important in debian BTS here this is a (developper) whishbug
part of a wishlist that may be part of the TODO list of my own project)
; sorry to detail my intentionship I think that bug will leave average
user lost for some reasons :
- reportbug and BTS are still in progress upstream (this is debian
specific developpement but this is use for some oyher ditros/
projects)and because of (other compagnies and why not mine and of course
Ubuntu's 1st sponsor) expertise and shipment capacity maybe one version
or fork of at least one of the se
I am a proud user of the islamic tune of Ubuntu which is for some reason
neither a fork nor an official version of Ubuntu and which is named
Sabily.
This flavour is subtile. I would say this is a fragrance and a color
much more rare and precious than Klein blue and Channel #5, so I
modestly want to add my contribution to Sabily (and therefore to all
the people willing to use it, like it, improve it, sponsor it and
distribute it) as soon as they accept to permit these freedom to be
preserved (General Public License permit this I hope). My will is to
offer alternative human–computer interaction alternative and computer
assisted human to human communications and to improve computer to
computer interaction process. These task require a bug tracking system
that I have practiced and which learning how to, robustness and agility
is acquired, part of a forge may contain bts, cvs (eg. Subversion or
other plain old CVS heirs) and other interaction tools (facebook uses
wiki and wordpress for developers) and can be installed home and
administred by a failable person without being a pain in her ass) even
if hundreds of developpers and thousand of people are willing to use
this sometimes with no internet communication (mail, cvs
synchronisation, rss and news does not need permanent and direct
connexion to the internet) ...
By step :
- (maybe if God permits and users enjoy it alternative to X11 and console if
one merges and permits alternative interactions to CLI and wimp ) a gecko based
windows system and dfesktop as mozilla developpers thoought of it and thought
also to post-wimp andx wimp obsolescence) tools (as bug reporter but not only)
and other programs *must* permit batch and filter usage (unix specification),
CLI in case of people who dislike wimp and don't trust newest interaction
process not to be a pain in the ass to learn howto.
- localization of Sabily and specific localization tools and tools tuning
because of the place of arabic in the sunnah and all user may want to learn
arab and may need specific tools to do that. I want to learn arab vocabulary,
pronunciation and gramar and i want the distro i support to contain such tools
annotation and criticism of translation and tools to permit translation because
of the necessity to translate with a common willingness the Coran , the Sunnah
and faithfull works and artwork into and from arabic not into and from the
nternational english i practice here.
- complete , formalize and detail TODO list
First step, in God's name I report this very bug : reportbug error
message is not localized. It should be in system language (here french)
or in arabic with names (Debian, Ubuntu, BTS in latin letters if
necessary.) If reportbug is orphaned in Ubuntu I take the QA of it.
