To make the subject etc. of new messages as well as folder names
containing new messages blue, execute the following commands in a
terminal:
mkdir ~/.thunderbird/*.default/chrome
cat <<EOF >> ~/.thunderbird/*.default/chrome/userChrome.css
treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text(folderNameCol, newMessages-true) {
color: blue !important;
}
