apt-get install -f command is only a workaround - main problem is in update-manager - this bug occurs every time, when I install my customized Ubuntu 11.04 remix (Baltix 2011) and update with update- manager by simply pressing button "Install updates".
Bug doesn't occur if I install all updates in two rounds: 1. uncheck linux-generic , linux-image-generic and linux-image-2.6.38-13-generic packages in update-manager, then press button "Install updates" 2. when all other updates are installed I run update-manager second time and this time I simply update linux-generic , linux-image-generic (and linux-image-2.6.38-13-generic) packages by pressing button "Install updates". You can verify this bug by installing my customized Ubuntu 11.04 remix - http://ftp.akl.lt/Linux/Baltix/Baltix-Linux-Desktop- DVD-11.04-2011-12.iso and install all updates with update-manager.
