Hi shemgp Thx for the suggestion but I don't think this is a dup of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/console-setup/+bug/63104 because in this case Caps Lock is not working at all, it hasn't been wrongly assigned as Shift Lock, and the LED is working fine.
