I have the same problem as Andrew Frank. I don't use Google Earth very often, and have made a few changes to the system. They might be related. Finally, I've got 1920x1200 resolution working on my PC with intel graphics, by installing xserver-xorg-video-intel which replace the package xserver-xorg-video-i810. I still have 915resolution installed; I don't know if it's needed.
Back to Google Earth. The logo splash screen of Earth appears, then the desktop crashes. I'll attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old and /etc/X11/xorg.conf. ** Attachment added: "/var/log/Xorg.0.log.old" http://librarian.launchpad.net/7855875/Xorg.0.log.old -- google earth does crash xorg on feisty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95606 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
