I agree this could be improved. However it is behaving as it was designed. You can look at /usr/share/compiz/core.xml and see the separate definitions of "maximize_window_key" (default Alt+F10) and "unmaximize_window_key" (default Alt+F5). What makes the design worse is that there is also a separate "toggle_window_maximized_key" (no key by default).
I suggest we need to change the default key bindings to: "maximize_window_key" = none "toggle_window_maximized_key" = Alt+F10 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/854607 Title: Having different shortcuts to maximize/unmaximize (Alt+F10/Alt+F5) windows is confusing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz-core/+bug/854607/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
