The log shows that it's the dropbox package from dropbox's website that is
failing:
Start-Date: 2012-02-19 17:55:59
Commandline: synaptic
Purge: nautilus-dropbox:amd64 (0.7.1)
And that the upgrade from dropbox's version to the Ubuntu version failed a bit
earlier:
Start-Date: 2012-02-19 17:55:06
Commandline: synaptic
Install: python-gpgme:amd64 (0.2-1, automatic)
Upgrade: nautilus-dropbox:amd64 (0.7.1, 0.7.1-2)
Error: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
End-Date: 2012-02-19 17:55:09
But you did not paste the error message for this upgrade. Although I
suspect it might be the same... in any case it's not a bug in Ubuntu's
package but in Dropbox's one. There's nothing I can do. Try adding "set
-x" in /var/lib/dpkg/info/nautilus-dropbox.postrm to identify where it
fails and deactivate the failing command.
