As the error is the result of an invalid config file being created, I'm
inclined to suggest this should be marked invalid. Can you remove the
invalid file, try again, and attach the ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log
/syncdaemon-exceptions.log if it exists? If it doesn't, then
syncdaemon.log in the same directory should state why it is cleanly
exiting.
