... reading it again,... the core problem could be the same.
So this is not a bug but a configuration change, and it's not easy to
revert the locked drags setting for me / users through the Ubuntu gui ?
(why is there no setting option inside the stock mouse settings of
Ubuntu 12.04 to change this behavior so everybody is happy)
