You should install and upgrade linux-image-generic at least, or linux-
generic, in order to ensure that you have all packages needed for the
kernel.
In this case, it looks like you only have linux-image-2.6.22-5-generic
and linux-restricted-modules-2.6.22-5-generic. The package you are
missing is linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-5-generic, which would get
installed if you install the linux-generic or linux-image-generic meta
packages from gutsy.
