Your original cd contains Bel6020.sys and Bel6020.inf. I edited the *.inf file to point to a Realtek sytem file (rtl8180.sys) instead of Bel6020.sys (I do not know why Bel6020.sys does not work, but trust me that it does not!). The Belkin v. 3 is really a Realtek. Make sure that you indeed have a v. 3 wireless card, since v. 2 uses different drivers.
Move these two files using sudo mv Bel6020.inf (or rtl8180.sys) /usr/sbin where the ndiswrapper resides. Then run ndiswrapper. I am looking for a good tutorial right now on how to run ndiswrapper properly before I will be able to provide a step-by-step. You indicated (dstubb) that you had already run ndiswrapper and it did not work. You might want to "remove" ndiswrapper completely including configuration files and reinstall using the latest version of ndiswrapper, which is what I am using. -- Belkin wireless PCMCIA card no longer works in Feisty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/116029 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
