The alternate installation CD for Kubuntu 11.10 fails disk checking.
I did a manual check using the
md5sum.txt
file and found the following errors:
./install/netboot/pxelinux.cfg/default: FAILED open or read
./install/netboot/ubuntu-installer/amd64/pxelinux.cfg/default: FAILED open or
read
./install/netboot/pxelinux.0: FAILED open or read
./pool/main/n/networkmanagement/plasma-widget-networkmanagement_0.9~svngit.nm09.20110610.0c83d8-0ubuntu5_amd64.deb:
FAILED open or read
./pool/main/c/cyrus-sasl2/libsasl2-modules_2.1.24~rc1.dfsg1+cvs2011-05-23-4ubuntu2_amd64.deb:
FAILED open or read
./pool/main/x/xserver-xorg-video-ati/xserver-xorg-video-radeon_6.14.99~git20110811.g93fc084-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb:
FAILED open or read
./pool/main/x/xserver-xorg-video-ati/xserver-xorg-video-ati_6.14.99~git20110811.g93fc084-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb:
FAILED open or read
All of these are either files missing from the alternate install CD or
having slightly different names from the ones in the
md5sum.txt
This should be easy to solve.
