this could be related to #691770 and for me the situation has improved, perhaps due to some update (i did not do a dist upgrade)
i also copy the information from the other issue: i am not sure if this is still an issue, suspend works in most cases now. i am sure that i disabled all indexing (system->preferences->search and indexing -> remove all directory paths) to make my machine faster, so perhaps this contributed to solve the problem? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/793077 Title: suspend/task freeze does not work because daemon gets into D process state To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/793077/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
