Public bug reported:

Please sync ruby-magic 0.2.6-1 (universe) from Debian testing (main)

Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception:
samizdat is not installable because mahoro has been dropped from Ubuntu since
Oneiric. New upstream version replaced mahoro with magic and samizdat replaced
dependency on libmahoro-ruby1.8 with a dependency on ruby-magic. ruby-magic is
then required as well as a 5 lines patch in samizdat so that samizdat can be
installable again.

ruby-magic builds and installs fine in a Precise chroot:
(Precise)fabrice@fabrice-desktop:/tmp$ sudo dpkg -i ruby-magic_0.2.6-1_all.deb
(Reading database ... 48957 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace ruby-magic 0.2.6-1 (using ruby-magic_0.2.6-1_all.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement ruby-magic ...
Setting up ruby-magic (0.2.6-1) ...
(Precise)fabrice@fabrice-desktop:/tmp$

Thanks,
Fabrice
