Seems like I'm not going to be any use to anyone for testing. My UX31 seems to be bricked. While in the grub boot up process it feels like I had some sort of hardware failure (screen tear and fade out to black). The machine will no longer boot up, no Asus splash screen, no getting into BIOS nothing. I would say that prior to this issue the latest patch seems to be going in the right direction. When and if I get this machine back I will be back to the testing assuming you don't solve it by then.
