Thank you, indeed keyboard input comes back when I press ctrl+alt+f1 and then ctrl+alt+f7. I also scanned the key code:
First, note that /lib/udev/findkeyboards does not yield any keyboard in my case, but I could figure out that my keyboard is at /dev/input/event4.
