Actually, scratch that last comment I wrote. This bug is far too broad
and far too old and should just be closed. Thank you very much for the
report but keep in mind that each bug report should have one issue and
only one issue. If you can reproduce any of these issues on a currently-
supported Ubuntu version, please raise a new bug report.
