(Argh, forgot to add this to my last comment.) Also, we've just upgraded our work machines, running Scientific Linux and Fedora, to tmux 1.6 and they work correctly without any hacks.
** Description changed: I'm no longer able to click, scroll, or otherwise use the mouse in terminal applications inside tmux (such as vim). This seems to happen with mode-mouse on and off. With mode-mouse off, the mouse flat out doesn't work in tmux or applications inside it. With mode-mouse on, tmux does scroll and let you click your status line (if set), but it eats all mouse input instead of passing it through to the active application. Tested with vim and less. Strangely enough, htop inside tmux works fine. I'm fairly certain this has something to do with the packaging, as this worked in 1.5-1 (oneiric), but doesn't in 1.5-3 (precise). I reverted to tmux 1.5-1 from oneiric, but the problem still exists, so it may also be an issue in a dependency. + Doesn't appear to behave properly in tmux 1.6 either. + ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: tmux 1.5-3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-8.15-generic 3.2.0 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-8-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ApportVersion: 1.90-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Jan 15 16:27:41 2012 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release amd64 (20111012) SourcePackage: tmux UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-01-15 (0 days ago) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/916941 Title: tmux no longer passes mouse input through To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tmux/+bug/916941/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
