Red Hat contributed a fix upstream to fix this, and that patch is in
man-db 2.6.1, which is in precise.  Here's the ChangeLog entry:

        * src/filenames.c (filename_info): Zero-initialise the contents of
          info to avoid a double-free in store_descriptions (Fedora bug
          #702904).
