Public bug reported:
I cancelled the authentication popup that appeared when installing
Ubuntu One via the new installer (i clicked the wrong button).
Does the Ubuntu One installer correctly handle unauthorised users (e.g.
display 'update failed' message / go back to start). Surely it does not
assume a valid authentication in every case?

Extra Information:
1) I am currently using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (pre-release up-to-date via Optus
Australia mirror)
2) apt-cache policy ubuntuone-installer output:
ubuntuone-installer:
Installed: 2.99.5-0ubuntu3
Candidate: 2.99.5-0ubuntu3
Version table:
*** 2.99.5-0ubuntu3 0
500 http://mirror.optus.net/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
3) I expected a "Could not install Ubuntu One at this time. Try Again |
Cancel ?' message
4) The form still said "installing..." (i forget the exact wording) and my
system auto-generated this bug report.
