I am running a fresh install of precise (alpha plus updates). The bug is no longer present
Steps to reproduce: Click on the message icon (in status bar), then setup broadcast, click an new accont for twitter in the gwibber dialogue, choose authorize and enter your details. After the authorization, the gwibber status line says "refreshing" and my status updates appear. This did not happen before, instead i had to close and restart gwibber.
