I added that repo to a virtual machine and installed deployment-daemon-
zend-server. The package seems to be corrupt, as it fails with a
postinstall error on php not being available in the zend directory. I
then manually installed zend-server-php-5.3 and the package was
configured correctly, e.g.

$ sudo apt-get -f install
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:
  php5-common
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 4 not upgraded.

I mark this bug as invalid, as the underlying issue is a packaging
problem, not apt.

** Changed in: apt (Ubuntu)
       Status: Incomplete => Invalid
