dmesg does not show the same failing hardware issue as in bug #937638;
unmarking as a duplicate.

Hidden_Cat, could you also show the output of 'ls -l /etc/nologin' for
your system?

dmesg shows that you're using squashfs, and looking at the bug report
confirms that you have not actually done a full Ubuntu install but
instead have written the livefs to the SD card and are using the
persistent livefs support.  The error could be related to this, but the
output of the above command is needed to see for sure.
