I was doing the upgrade from the DVD 'xubuntu 12.04 precise desktop AMD64.iso'.
I had taken the choice of letting the installer upgrade existing packages while trying to keep my data unchanged. The system already had separate "/" and "/home" partitions, along with a swap partition. I probably should have done what I usually do, which is to do a reinstall, with custom partitioning, leaving /home untouched. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/943071 Title: package cups 1.5.2-5 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/943071/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
