That's my thinking too - that some update got missed, but it might even
have been python-support (since otherwise the new python-support without
this warning would have gotten installed, right?).
I did try my "one other thing" and again failed to reproduce it. I
think for now I'll mark this bug incomplete, but if anybody gets some
more information, please do re-open it.
