Hi Ming, I haven't built a kernel with make-kpkg yet. I generally use fakeroot debian/rules.
fakeroot make-kpkg --initrd --append-to-version=-custom kernel_image kernel_headers /usr/bin/fakeroot: line 178: make-kpkg: command not found I tried using the syntax you provide, but I get an error. Are there some setup steps I need to perform to use make-kpkg? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/942391 Title: upstream kernel can't be built in precise To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/942391/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
