I have no further information which IPs are routed through the proxy and which not. Stupid situation... What i can say for sure is, that my system update tries until last month were instabile, meaning some files are downloaded some not and the download process is interupted often, though in the end, after some retries, the download is completed and the update afterwards goes smooth. (Using kpackagekit most of the time, didn't use apt-get update for something about 3 months or so...) My problem described in June 2011 was far more annoying, because nothing finished smooth... and i ended up in infinite retries in kpackagekit and console often. Since i update every 2 months with my mobile phone there seem to be some changes...
