Public bug reported:

The Application Menu Integration option mentioned in the designs here
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ILTJDiDCd25Npt2AmgzF8aOnZZECxTfM0hvsbWT2BxA/edit?hl=en_GB
on Page 8 have not appeared in my settings yet and I know quite a few
people that are waiting for this functionality. This better suits power
users (and those migrating from Windows) as it allows people to use
Focus Follows Mouse and means a faster interface as users do not need to
travel to the top of the screen to access the menu every time. I
understand it's consistent having the menu at the top and that should
stay as the default but the option to turn it off is quite important to
a lot of people and I think missing this from 12.04 would be a mistake.
I know the UI has gone into a freeze now but it is in the designs which
have also been frozen so is it likely to make an appearance soon? If not
then I would be interested to know why it has been dropped.

Cheers,
Mark
