Public bug reported:

0. tell the browser to save opened pages at exit and open saved pages at start.

1. code for a while; also, read stackoverflow, listen to some music,
find its lyrics, read some news and follow some links on the news site.
Whenever you need something different, open a new window; while
searching for that something, open all search results and links in new
pages; do not close the pages. After a while, you will have a number of
Chromium windows (I have 19 now, with the number of tabs ranging from 4
to 32).

2. close the browser with Ctrl-Shift-Q

3. run Eclipse and Code::Blocks (this is what I use for Android NDK
programming). Run SMPlayer with some music. Run Tortoise HG and open
some files in Meld. Run another browser (in my case it was red-yellow-
green Google Chrome, *different* from blueish-blue-blue Chromium -- I
have both). Optionaly, open a pdf with lyrics, look at it and leave
opened until better times.

4. finally, run Chromium.

Expected: It should start

Actual: it opens windows but draws nothing. The HDD LED blinks; the
mouse does not move; no reaction on keyboard.

It may show a dialog proposing to kill some pages; if you don't agree
immediately, your PC will lose responsiveness.
Once I had to reboot the computer; the last time I managed to close Google
Chrome and thus freed some memory.
It's interesting that it reported newly opened pages as hanging.

It is possible that some pages start downloads. At least, I see messages
about unfinished downloads when I try to close the browser. (And some
pages may be showing poker or even porno -- I have no idea what they
open in the background.)
