I tried this on my VM, and no errors are printed when I try to add a bookmark, either with drag and drop or via the menu. And the perms on that file are:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 rocko rocko 128 Mar 2 07:35 .gtk-bookmarks I do get an error when starting nautilus, but it looks like an unrelated samba issue: Initializing nautilus-gdu extension Nautilus-Share-Message: Called "net usershare info" but it failed: 'net usershare' returned error 255: net usershare: cannot open usershare directory /var/lib/samba/usershares. Error No such file or directory Please ask your system administrator to enable user sharing. I also upgraded my main machine to precise, ie with a user account that already has bookmarks, and bookmarks work correctly. But when I try a new user where no bookmarks are defined, I can't add the first bookmark. So the problem seems to be when adding the first bookmark. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/827049 Title: add bookmark is broken in oneiric's nautilus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/827049/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
