Just compiled the latest version and set an alarm in evolution, which triggered. I then used the desktop button. And there happened no crash. I haven't used window maker for quite some time. I use metacity, because it has the nice feature of being able to switch between windows of one particular application using a configurable keyboard shortcut, which I could not find in WindowMaker. I can remember I also had problems with occasional crashes when using Mod-H to hide all windows of an application. Hope that helps, thomas
