I just installed the proposed package (cups) and my new version is '1.5.0-8ubuntu7'; however, I still cannot print via a network printer. /var/log/cups/error_log has the following entries

E [05/Mar/2012:13:18:42 +0200] [Job 438] Unable to get printer status (Unknown)! E [05/Mar/2012:13:18:52 +0200] [Job 438] Unable to get printer status (Unknown)! I also tried using smb, but no luck there either.
