well, i do what you said for 2 times. and this is all i remember
 **you may need first to know that is ubuntu 12.04 beta liveCd amd64 ported to
usb (by multisystem)
  **and this is my computer details: ( intel p4 3.0GHz 64bits 2Mo of
cache/512Mo ddr 400/ Geforce FX6200 TC 256Mo PCI Express)

-->First time:
when i logout, it have like you had seen in video, i treid
"alt"+"ctrl"+"F1".and "F2"..., but, it keeps like first. After more than 80 s ,
a window open
         "Ubuntu is running in low-graphics mode
           your screen, graphics card, and input device setting could not be
detected correctly. You will need to configure these yourself"
at this moment, i could to change to commande line "alt"+"ctrl"+"F1", i copied
/var/log/lightdm/lightdm.log ( http://ubuntuone.com/3OsBD07b3PiKeU36Kiz8vW )
and all /var/log/ for more details if you want or other ubuntu developpers (
http://ubuntuone.com/4NirbFLdVrqaYo2qtWKRg4 )
then i click "ok" in this window and an other open (what would you like to do ?
 \n run ubuntu in low-graphics mode \n ...................etc".then, i reboot
my computer

-->Second time:
before loging out, i changed the screen resolution to 1280x1024, a window open
"failed to apply configuration:%s \n Timeout was reached"
may it was a lack of memory!, then i logout, and after 80 s like first time, i
copied all /var/log/ ( http://ubuntuone.com/3y8aIdjN5sjxzZwFWVsQux )
-if, in the log files you find nautils problems, i stoped forcely by myself
before changing resolution went i mound a disk partition
-I'm not good in english
