With kernel 3.3 rc6, the Fn brightness keys work perfectly. Only 2 side
effects:
1. The on-screen notification for brightness change isn't shown when
cycling through with the buttons (it only shows the first time you
change brightness; after that, no GUI)
2. If you close the lid (without entering sleep mode) and you open it up
again, the brightness changes to a default level (5/16 incremental
steps). The same applies after reboot or resume from suspend.
